The deadline for the SWIB25 Call for Proposals has been extended to 11 June. We are looking forward to your submissions.

SWIB gets even better in good company! Why not consider setting up some kind of – smaller or larger – event during SWIB25? For collecting ideas and scheduled events, we have started a topic at In-person SWIB nodes for an even better conference experience.

The SWIB25 programme was published today and you can now register for the conference. We are very happy for having Brewster Kahle (@brewster) as keynote speaker on “Library Resilience Exercises by the Internet Archive”. In addition to 16 presentations, we will have eight hands-on workshops/tutorials spread over three time slots.

SWIB25 is right around the corner! You can see the programme at SWIB25 Programme .

We will start the main conference on Monday, Nov 17, at 2pm UTC with Brewster Kahle’s Keynote: Library Resilience Exercises by the Internet Archive.

You can still sign up for any of the six workshop that might interest you and fits your sleep cycle (we tried to cover as many timezones as possible): 🔨 Workshops@SWIB25

Note that you also have the opportunity to sign up for a lightning talk at SWIB25 to share your latest projects or ideas in a short (3-5 min) presentation: SWIB25 Lightning Talks

Hi everybody, things are getting real. The first day of SWIB25 has started, workshops are already running and we are getting very excited.

The main conference and live stream will start at 14:00 UTC with a short opening address followed by @brewster 's keynote.

Please fill out the SWIB25 post-conference survey at https://forum.swib.org/t/swib25-post-conference-survey/1602.

SWIB25 is coming to an end, and we are curious: What made you participate in SWIB25 and how do you think it went? The survey is anonymous, the aggregated results will be open to the community. Also, if you have any more feedback beyond our multiple choice questions, please add it in a reply to the survey topic!

Recordings are available

All recordings from SWIB25 have been uploaded to YouTube and are linked on the page for each talk. Just browse the SWIB25 Programme, look for presentations you’d like to (re)watch.

This year, we also have recordings from one of the workshops: 🔨 From chaos to Skosmos: publishing controlled vocabularies made easy

Thanks for participating in SWIB25! We encourage everybody to stay in touch on the forum and keep the discussion going.
